When I turned on my manual boost controller you can hear the turbo spooling up real good at partial throttle ... sounds like a jet engine!

I noticed after I installed the Borla, I could hear the Turbo spooling a little better. Although this could be my mind playing tricks on me. My car only has 1950 Km's on it and the Borla was intalled at 1000 Km's So maybe I was not used to hearing it spool up and now I notice it more.

Meh.....who Knows.

I put on the K&N intake and my turbo sounds insane w/ the mopar bov. My spool sounds like a high pitch pressure washer driving by.

More than a few people who have had the golden opportunity of riding in the blue monster say the same thing....."dude this thing sounds like a jet engine" ...to which my reply is "Want to see it fly?" :eveilgrin

I thought superchargers only WHINE
I know stage 2 makes the turbo "whine" ALOT more than stage 0. Anyone else notice this? My car was COMPLETELY stock except for stage 2 w/o toys. When my friend bought it and put it on his COMPLETELY stock SRT-4, it made it "whine" so much more even at like 0 psi. Now, mine doesn't "whine" at all. I miss the "whine." So, also I can agree and say Stage 1 would help too. But, to get real bad ass "whine," get BIG TURBO.

If you want to hear big-time turbo whine, you need to have a huge turbo like serious drag cars run. They take forever to spool up, but once they do... WHOOOOOAA! Oops, my engine exploded.
Thing is, they're terrible on the street, cost a small fortune, and if you want to put one on you need to beef up your engine internals a lot, not to mention your fuel, intake, exhaust...
If you're really in love with the whine, just buy a car with a supercharger instead of a turbo. Much, much whinier, and it's constant, too. :wah?!:
