Mopar performance parts warranty for manufacturing defect?

Hey Guys, so I swapped out my Mopar intake yesterday for an INjen shortram,..

When i pulled the Mopar filter I noticed it has a hole in the rubber end!,.
looking inside of the filter it looks like it was a casting defect in the rubber, major porosity, like when they casted the rubber it was "foamy"...

Does Mopar warranty any of there parts? especially when its an obvious manufacturing defect?

Mopar Performance parts do not carry any warranty, defects or not.

My car came with the mopar cai, and after the pita job removing it from my car, I was amazing at what a GARBAGE pos it really is...

the mopar cai is the AEM piece in a different color, that's it. Mopar didn't have much of a hand, if any, in production/design.

Well its junk, it was holding water in the splash guard and the whole thing smelled like musty basement in there.. fit like crap too.

Much happier with the injen short ram, it fits very nice, and looks great in black too.

If it was noticed immediately after purchase, there are some routes you can take. But you didn't buy it so it didn't matter anyway.
