It was actually a joke but it is still mostly the questions clogging up the server. Also the stupid cat pictures have been know to crash servers.

Last time I check there are no venders there providing him with a check. Just ask him how hard it is to run a forum that is not even a 1/8 as popular as this one.

well, i highly doubt it, bc we already most of the time have non members viewing, which slows us down alot as well. maybe make it to where you would need a subscription to even access the site.

however, i highly doubt that if they did commision a subscription fee, it wouldnt do anything for the speed of the site.

I wouldnt mind paying a small fee either, but im sure there are alot of people on this site that wouldnt want to pay, and would end up losing alot of members. To me thats what makes this site so good, is because there are so many different kinds of people, and somethings all ways going on in the community. i think there is a way to tell when the forum has lag.....when that happens all the nebs get booted till its lag free..........i dunno how hard that would be but vetrans get to stay on when its crowded.......like senoirity

Its not even a car forum anymore. Its a place for people that have nothing better to do during work, to post in off-topic hoping for 100 posts a day. Its down right sickening.
