I didnt fall out the srt yesterday. I am looking for jackstand placement other than the arrowed spots behind and in front of the tires. Thats fine for the jack but i am looking to place a jackstand with curved supports.

Stop by Home Depot and pick up either a 1x1/2 length of wood or a 1x1 length. Cut into 4 inch sections and put that on top of the curved support of the jack stand and it will support the car at each corner. The wood will get worn if you use them enough. But the wood is cheaper than a rocker panel.

OK I just realized this is such a important post but nobody seems to have a good reply. Can someone plz freaking provide pics where jack-stands can go! The manual provide jacking points not where jack stands go.

When I need to put my SRT on jackstands, I jack the car up in the front at the crossmember near where the swaybar runs across, then I put the stands under/next to where the ball joint is on the lower a-arm (or whatever it is called). For the rear, I jack the car under the rear crossmember and use jackstands just inside of where the member "curves" upwards. My jack has a large jacking plate (not one of those 2" jobs, more like 4-5" so the weight is spread out) and I put a towel on it so I don't scratch anything up. I have not dented anything underneath and have done this a couple of times. Just my $.02.

I try to place the jack stands some where close to the factory jacking areas. Normally jack to the right of the area and jack stands to the left for most cars.

One thing that hasen't been covered yet is to watch out for lines [fuel and brake] make sure that the curve part of the stand and jack doesn't touch them.

Also make sure that you block the back wheels for safety.

Here are some photos I just went out and took. Please take every thing I say with a grain of salt, especially in regard to the rear of the car (since I have not yet put that end on jackstands), because I am not an automotive expert. I am just a kid who works on his car in spare time.

Thank IMPERFECTION! You have done many of us a great favor. I just done a wheel rotation and wish I had look at the pics earlier thanks to not doing that my frame-rail took quite a beating but it was a learning experience. Thanks again.

Impefection great pics.. the first pic you show is where my front jackstands are.. They are the unibody frame supports and seem to work just fine. Your last pic is where I put my rear stands side by side and this gives you plenty of room under the car to do just about anything you want.
