I'd be willing to bet it's on wrong. There was an 04 for sale at a local dealer and it sounded very similar to this, low and behold, the Mopar BOV was on wrong.
I highly doubt someone thats running stage 3 w/toys and NOS installed a blue plate incorrectly, like i said mine sounds very similar!

You guys are wonderful, that sound took me a mopar blue plate and a 20 dollar e-bay intake. Many threads posted on this. It doesnt take much.

When I bought my car the only mod on it was the blue plate. It sounded SOOOOO much different then everyone else. I was checking for boost leaks, took the plate and sure shit it was on backwards. Checked out the how to for the rice plate. Low and behold the sound changed dramatically, and not for the better. However it's on correctly now. Honestly it worked 100% fine from everything I could tell when it was on backwards, boost was normal, it just sounded so much better. Kinda weird.

sry thought u said his souneded like a 20 intake so i was just saying what one he had, didnt realize u said it only takes a $20 intake.

So i assume its prob not safe to have it on backwards, or would it not hurt anything?
