I cant see why not, it's probably necked down from 10 gauge to the pumps anyway.

 

The 30 AMP relay is where I think you'll have an issue if at all

because you're running two pumps off the same power feed instead of one. If you want to use a 30amp relay, you're gonna wanna use a power feed and relay for each pump, but they arent wired from DCR to even be able to do that.

I think the amp draw of one pump is around 20amps, so two pumps would be 40amps....even if the relay did work, why would you want to run the relay at the edge of what it's designed for when it will likely fail and burn out and let you sitting somewhere???

If you got the money to install a twin 044 setup, then having a good, decent electrial system for it shouldn't even become a question.

Alright well the problem is not money it's trying to find a 60 or 70amp relay. When I eventually do find one what size fuse would I need use? 60 or 70?

 

can anyone send me a part number for a 12v 4 prong 60 or 70amp relay at a local auto parts store? autozone, oreillys, advance auto, napa?

 

I dont know about finding it at a local auto parts store because it's not your typical relay...here's a link for one that should work....

And for the fuse, just do a google search for '50 Amp Maxi Fuse'...something should come up that you can use.

 

i went with dcr's rewire. it was a lot easier then trying to piece stuff together and it works/fits perfect.
