Any way to install a suction-cup mount?

Santa was real good to me this year  and got me a Sirius satellite radio and a GPS. So of course I spent a good 6 hours on Christmas making a bus to run my radar detector, cell phone charger, and sat-radio from behind the glove compartment. Got everything wired and running great - I have three (soon to be four) devices running off 12-volt power and my cig-lighter port is still free

Problem is that all the interior surfaces of the ol' SRT are textured, so a suction-cup mount won't stick to anything. My satellite radio (the JVC Sirius portable one) is currently "mounted" by shoving the suction-cup part into the right cupholder. I want to stick it to the side of the lower console to the right of the cig-lighter port, but of course it can't stick to that. Are there any glues I can use that will adhere to both a suction cup and to the interior plastic but without leaving permanent scars? I really don't want to have to drill holes, but I have the radio and the GPS (which is for aviation but will have a road map released "soon") also has a suction mount.

If there's not a glue that will hold the mounts, how'd y'all install these things? I'm sure I'm not the first person to want to attach accessories in places other than the windshield.

Also, PM me if you want info on how I set up a bus to run various 12-volt devices without having to hack up your power cords. All my cords are wired to the bus intact and everything's hidden behind the glovebox, but I did come up with a way to install additional 12-volt cig-lighter plugs without having to pull out the interior or hack up the plugs.

Hey. I just got the Sirius Sportster for Christmas as well. I understand your issue with the power outlets. I run a radar detector, sat. radio, and G-timer and the double outlet adaptor just won't cut it anymore. I am interested as well.

Try some double side sticky tape to tape a small flat (non textured) piece of plastic or something to the side of the console, then suction cup the radio to that.
