Ok, I'm only looking for either your own experience with and/or your opinion on the following subject? Of the many mods I will be adding to my car when it gets here, I was thinking of adding NAWS!

Ok, before you get your panties in a bunch, not really NAWS, but the NX Ntercooler. If you don't know what it is, don't bother responding with "You are stupid if you add nitrous to an SRT-4", because it's not your typical fast and furious wanna-be setup. If you do a search on the forum, you may find a few posts regarding similar products like water sprayers and crap. Anyways, I know I can make my own homeade crap, but a I am about quality and the best for my car. I can get the kit with everything needed for like $310 or $350. I'm just wondering if half the claimed HP gains are good to go by?
I'm looking forward to hearing Nathan's (TurboXS) response here. :)

While I personally prefer to inject N2o into the motor, the above 3 dyno plots were taken from a WRX we tuned last summer.

The lowest plots are the car's pump gas numbers.
The middle line (342hp iirc) was the same car (same day) tuned on C16 race fuel (you guys are going to love it when we start tuning on C16 with these cars).
The top line (363hp) is the same car, same day on C16 with the NX ntercooler active during a dyno run. There were NO other changes made between the standard C16 runs and the NX ntercooler run.

As you can see it makes quite a difference and is likely worth doing. However it does use quite a bit of N2o in one dyno run or 1/4-mile pass. I'd consider using C02 rather than N2o if you decide to go this route as you’ll save a bit of money, and your intercooler really won’t know the difference.

This WRX has recently run [email protected] on 100-octane fuel. I suspect he should be in the 11s by the end of the month.

Damn. An easy 20HP gain. I've read reviews of like 50HP gains on some cars. Of course it'll be different per application, but I can't wait to get one on when I get my car to see what it runs. I've just recently started reading up on these, so I have a few questions that you, Nathan, may be able to answer. If I bought that kit, can I just have the tank filled with CO2 rather than N2O with no ill effects? Also, do you run the intercooler during the whole entire run? Just use a toggle on/off switch and leave it on. Last question, will leaving it on for too long cause any damage or just frost the bottle and waste your CO2/N2O? Ok, one more question, with this not being a noral nitrous into engine setup, would there be any need for a bottle warmer or purge kit? Thanks in advance!
