If you have the factory service manuals, and it contains the wiring diagrams for the SRT-4 and the 'regular neons', and you've got the time to do some comparisons...
Does it look like a non-SRT-4 gauge cluster will plug into the SRT-4 wiring harness? I'm assuming it won't.... and this is where it gets interesting if you're one of those 'just gotta know' people. If it's not a plug and play swap, does it appear that the SRT-4 harness will drive a non SRT-4 cluster with a jumper harness? The big concern is if the VSS and tach signal are in the same format, I'm sure temp, fuel, and warning lights are able to be swapped...
Also of interest to me, except for the panel that houses the boost gauge, are the rest of the dash area panels direct swaps?
Btw, no, I'm not planning to put SRT-4 parts into a Neon, I'd like to be able to put Neon parts into an SRT-4. I'm assuming that the rest of the interior (rear seat, trim panels, carpet) are a direct swap.
Thanks for your help,
Dale
