Alright, who is going to drive their SRT-4 in the Canadian Winters! Snow, Ice, sleet, 3ft of snow everywhere....extreme temps...

We all know those americans don't know what real winter is....so I'm curious how many people if any plan to brave the snow with their cars...

I know I have to...

Not sure what Canadian winters are like, but Iowa winters are bad enough for me. The SRT is going into hibernation here in the next month. Winter car is either 89Mazda MX6 or 86 Caprice Classic. The caprice is mine but would rather not have RWD for the winter, the Mazda is a farm car I'm hopin my parents will sell for a couple hundred. The things awsome in the snow.

I know what real winters are like! I will have my SRT as long as the snow doesn't get too deep- They usually plow my area quite regularly. If it is too deep then I will just use something else.

That is what I will be doing... Driving the SRT-4 (with winter tires and stone guard in place) on days that it isn't too bad, but when it gets ooogly, out will come the 86 Buick Century.

Later.

WIMPS! The SRT made it through the bone chilling weather in Aurora last yr! A little hard starting it in the morning, but it started

I think it was -40 Celcius with the windchill factor. :eveilgrin

I wish I could find the pic of my car covered in salt/snow/slush.....ralley car drivers would be proud of me

Get a good set of snow tires and you should be fine..... :)

Winter tires and rims are way cheaper than insuring and buying a second vehicle. Plus it would hurt making payments on a car I can't drive.

The way I look at it is that it is a Neon...really. It isn't a porsche or Vette or something that needs to be put away for the winter.

The other thing I like is that this car has AWESOME heat. Heats up in 5 minutes. Small engine, bit HP = quick temps.
