I was just wondering at what mileage it would safe or me to take my car to the track.

I've heard to go easy on it until 500 and also I've heard until 1,000.

I drove mine off the lot, spun all the way through first gear and that night was out street racing. I know people say it needs a break in period but i dont buy into all that crap, to me its brand new so if any thats the best time to beat on it. Say im wrong or whatever you want but this is my third brand new car and i have never taken any of them through the brake in period and so far none of them have had any problems that could be related to not giving it a proper break in period.

Factory vehicle I say beat on. But when I got new motors in my stangs I would always give it 2k miles. Mostly because they were not tuned for the new motor.

i guess from what these guys are sayin you can bring it to the track...but give it a couple thousand miles and the car will run faster once it's broken in nicely

i drove the car from the lot to my house wich is 35mi and let it rip to see what the srt4 has. then i broung it to the track @ 500mi and ran a 14.5 @ 97 mi so dont whoery be happy
