Oh man. Ya you almost start to believe in bad luck. I remember flooring it on a certain onramp off the 15 and the coldside came off and destroyed the slave cylinder cable so i had to be towed home. Also been ran off the road on that same onramp. Also in my sisters focus for some reason the overdrive stopped working when i got to the top of the onramp. It is cursed.
Know what you mean!! Project Blue doesn't seem to like dynos or spirited runs. Must be why I feel so grumpy and apprehensive as I get her back to running again.:eyetwitch

I remember us parking our trailors at and import day and having what 15-20 other SRT guys show up with us.
Not sure I have seen another meet of any car type like those days.

We'll be at IFO at NED in October to try for the win this time. Was runner-up last year.
Maybe I'll head up to IFO and race one of our daily drivers for fun  I will most likely be running the wifes since her car is faster.
What time you guys going?

Weather looks good, I may head up for a bit and watch.

Like the GT? I had a '14 GT Premium, then a '12 GT500 and now have a '15 Ecoboost, F'kin Mustangs.

Tim you need to grab a GT a turbo it

I was going through some old pics of my neon when i first got it and found a few of these.
I only had mine for a few months and already went to like 5 meets...more than i've been to in the last 5 years haha

Let's see if someone can guess where this was

I wish there could be a meeting of the old school SRT guys with the newer owners at NED sometime this coming season. Maybe at IFO @ 5/15???

Just like the old Shelby Dodge and turbo Dodge mailing lists, after auto forums became popular and those cars got older and older the mailing lists died off. Now forums like this one are getting older and the "social media" thing and faceplacebook type sites are apparently killing off forums technology progresses and the the cars get older. The cycle always seems to repeat.

Oh well, it was a good run.

I was looking at my blue car the other day but haven't driven it for a few months other than periodically starting it. I think I've put more miles on my Spirit R/T this year and that's not saying much since that's probably only been a few hundred miles total.
Agree, I've had my SRT4 since Oct 04. Fun car to drive and quick enough for me. This forum has slowed down over the past few years but still a good place to get info or parts of you need them.

Sup fools!! Crazy seeing all these screen names and avatars unchanged brings me back. been a loooooooooooooooooooooooooooooong time.

Im assuming thats a 240sx or silvia?
Looks better wingless ;)
pic says jeep gtr. so wild guess, r32 gtr? there are two on craigslist in NH (one for 26k and one for 18k). The one for 18k looks like it has a tarped OB SRT4 next to it. :nerd2:

i'm looking for a ford escort, does anyone have one in the woods behind their house they don't need?

also wondering if anyone wants to do some WOT pulls on market street or loosen some lug nuts on clark st.

if not, how about mario kart IRL. ehf pokemon go, we did it first in... '08?

i might be going to look at one in a few days. i need something to mess around with. picked up a 2016 polaris slingshot a few months ago but dont want to tear into it too soon lol if anyone sees any decent srt's for sale hit me up

Cant agree more with you. I was on here back when I got my SRT then the turbo went and it sat for a while and now I'm resurrecting it. So glad that there is a shit load of information available on here and thankful for the dedicated old times who have stuck around to help still. Cheers!

Man it feels like it's been forever since I sold the SRT. Funny how I never see them on the roads anymore either. These days, I'd rather be on a bike though.
