ok before u tell me i am an idiot please give some advice...well i was loosening the bolt closest to the firewall on the top of the heat shield and i got the rachet stuck between that and the top there is no room to take it out and the rachet is on loosen so i cant tighten the bolt down to make room to pull it out....im driving my car around with a rachet in the engine bay so any ideas would be appreciated

umm turn the ratchet so it tightens. If clearence is an issue to get to the switch the try a flathead screwdriver to flick the switch.

k i will try but i think the clearance might be so little a flathead wont fit...i would try it right now and let u know but its dark out
