TTT! I am sure someone has done it before.
I removed the downstream 02 sensor and used that bung for my wideband. I think you need to leave the 02 sensor connected to the wiring harness. I have no cel's.blab10 said:I have read on here (just can't find it now) that stage 2 takes a few sensors out of the loop and does not monitor them at all. I am just wondering which ones. Reason being is I am wondering if I can just remove the o2 sensor near the cat and use that bung for my wideband and just zip tie the other to the frame or something. I am going to be purchasing a new downpipe soon and once I get it am going to have the extra bung welded in but that won't be for a couple of weeks more than likely. I just don't want it to throw any codes or anything.
How long have you had it like that?98turboteg said:I removed the downstream 02 sensor and used that bung for my wideband. I think you need to leave the 02 sensor connected to the wiring harness. Cool, thanks. I will just run the wideband o2 in the current bung until I get another DP.NMSRT4 said:no stage reads the downstream...but it needs to stay plugged in and the sensor may still throw codes because it isn't internally heated. take it to an exhaust shop, most will hook up for 20 bucks or so and they usually don't have to take the exhaust off the car.
