I already posted about how someone stole my SAFCII, but now that my car runs like shit..I want to know the reason. Someone told me that it was running too rich, but I just want to make sure. Also how bad would it be if it is running rich? It actually catches at around 4500 rpm but anything before that its like hitting a wall, it stutters like a mofo and if I hit it in 3rd once it catches at 4500 and then I shift to 4th, it only hits 5 PSI. Please I need help, do you guys think a mapclamp will help me out?

if u still have the wires of the safc still hooked up

your map wire is cut in half
you need to find what 2 wires cuts your map and connect them till u get another safc
here you go:

theres a diagram on how all the wiring is set up. its fairly simple
Im sorry for not mentioning it before, but I already hooked up the map sensor, I connected te white and yellow together because if not the car didnt want to start.
do you have a wideband? what are your a/f ratios at at idle and up until it finally starts going, think you said 4500rpms.
cause when i took my safc off for a minute it was so rich pooring black smoke out, and i couldnt even go anywhere it would just buck and make me almost fly through the windshield. lol so i put it back on and its fine now.
No, I dont have a wideband, but I think we are on the same boat.. it stutters like crazy and in 4th gear it hits a wall.. I think since I now dont have a clamp on the map sensor the computer sees im over boosting and doesnt want to let me have fun lol.. anyway to fix this?
get another safc, by the way how was it stolen??
