It doesnt mean anything. Chrysler didnt use to code there engines at all. The import companies started that trend. For example, no code exists for the old 2.2/2.5 Turbo, but they did code all the old transmissions with pointless names. Old trans name examples A525, A520, A523, A555, A568, A413. Thats about as meaningless as A853. :\

4G63 stands for 4 cylinders, gas engine, 6 is the engine series, 3 is the engine model.
