The ntk sensor is the one you want. It is the OE part.

I think I'm gonna start small with a smoke test and replacing a couple crusty hoses that gave me pause while doing the work. No P0440 last year. No significant mileage accumulated throughout the year (~500 miles). But I dropped the gas tank from the vehicle. At this point, I'm assuming user error (2 steps forward, 1 step back is how I live my life) until I further my diagnosis.

I'm definitely not an OEM only kinda guy. I also don't buy cheap knock off shit on ebay. I can assure you though that whatever manufacturer I purchase from will be assessed for both value and quality.

OEM parts aren't being made anymore. While not always true, this typically implies poor value. Sure I saved my oem axle because I can appreciate the quality of oem and the value others place on it. However, my Duralast axles kick ass and I have no regrets.

I've never owned a new car and I've never had dealer service (though I used to be a tech at one). I just am some poor kid with a passion for Neon cars being born with my 98 RT. My CAI was the intake off a Grand Caravan and nearly every bolt was gotten at ace hardware.

There is a deep rooted rat rod mentality in the Neon community, and I believe I fit in there better than the car shows.

don't screw around with the oxygen sensors. Only NTK or actual MOPAR branded ones (if you can still find one.)

Screech, where you at? What have you done to YOUR SRT4 lately?
Is that actually Mopar though? I don't like how that is worded...
Save the ~$37 price difference and get the NTK one from Rock Auto!

So it wasn't ready today unfortunately, ran into a couple hiccups like a snapped manifold bolt.

Looks like I would've had some problems soon enough anyways.....exhaust mani gasket starting to leak, and the green line rubber fitting was rotted and ready to crumble anytime.

Oil leak is on the center of the turbo, this is where I start getting into the areas I am not sure about, I'm hoping this is only as complicated as taking apart a couple lines and replacing crush washers, and not my turbo going bad. It's also likely dangerous to be driving my vehicle around, based on the smell of burning oil coming from under the hood. Don't need a SRT4 Bonfire Addition.

My stocker was leaking out both the supply on top on return on bottom. Gunked up the downpipe and intake a shit ton, but never had burning oil smell....

Check for any shaft play? Mine also had a tiny bit.

The infamous banjo fitting. Tons of people loosened this to install their Mopar BOV... and did not replace the single-use crush washers.

Couple of cars here burned down due to this.

Replace those crush washers ASAP.

I wonder if my tech replaced those crush washers... He was a Dodge tech (no longer at the dealership) and installed my Mopar BOV in his garage, many years ago. I'll have to have my current tech take a look at them the next time that I'm at the dealership for service.
