I purchased my Commemorative Edition back after selling it 6 1/2 years ago to purchase my 2011 Inaugural Edition SRT Challenger. I have been driving it as my daily and have loaned out my 2003 SRT-4 to my son-in-law.

finally got around to getting another srt and doing some work for myself. Machined the bed plate for a strap kit, made a windage tray, a little port work, and sprayed a valve cover. Haven’t enjoyed working on my own crap in a while lol

And installed 04 PT Cruiser (non- turbo) Rotors/Calipers (pads) & adaptor.

Rotors are 3 pounds lighter. SRT4 = 16.5 lbs. PT Cruiser = 13.5 lbs.

Caliper/adaptor 1.5 lbs. lighter. SRT4 12.0 lbs. PT Cruiser = 10.5 lbs.

Along with my drag tire/wheel set up. That will shave off about another 9 lbs. (4.5 per side).

So with elevating about 15 lbs. of rotational mass/weight I hope to see that improvement at the track.

At this point I dont see my self getting to the track until spring/summer but hopefully small incremental changes with E85 will make an improvement.

More too follow...

unpacked it.
pumped all the 18 month old gas out.
put about a gallon back in and tosed an ounce of stabil in.
shook the car around.
pumped the rest of the gas out.
found out my battery disconnect, didn't disconnect the battery and it was totally dead (0.51v)
removed battery and hoping I can save it.
packed it all back up and changed the way the final covering sits, to help prevent water from getting under it.
here's hoping I see it again in the spring!
need major funds for new suspension and tires, and i'm a broke fuck right now :(

packaging is car, HF shipping mats, car bag (vacuum sucked), car cover, tarp.

Drove the snot out of it on a country road with no traffic at that time, which is unusual. Got into the triple digits hypnotically speaking.

Installed the DCR Trans mount.

Extra vibrations felt in the cabin = Yes. Note: I've had the FM upper/lower engine mounts in the car for several years. So maybe I've adjusted to it. It's not a daily driver so consider that too.

I did notice the shift quality/direct engagement (if that makes sense) seemed more positive. Particularly when rowing thru the gears under power. I can only assume this is because of the trans being held still. Particularly when under power. All other shifting components are in great condition (or upgraded) and cables properly rigged.

Thats my 2 cents on the trans mount.

It's snowing today in MN and the car is officially parked. Looks like winter has started early.

when I track mine, I put in all 3 solid mounts and the shifting improves markedly.

Finally I can report this....
New REMAN Transmission from Orlando Florida with Carbon Fiber Snap Rings, I am so scared to send it but I have a few times and pushed it to 15PSI. No more grind or rattles or pop outs.

Finally got around to the Inner and Outer Tie Rods

First I think I’ve heard of carbon fiber snap rings.
