Absolutely LOVE the new layout, new graphics and banners and much more professoinal, clean lines and color themes, and best of all the RED SRT-4 in the corner (HAHAHA)

I like how the forums's catagories were merged a bit making it a bit less jumbled. Good functionally just about everywhere. Thanks for you hard work to keep this board such a fun & informative place to waste too much of my time :bouncy:

it wasn't the machine, it did the same thing on 4 diffrent computers(3 PC, 1 Mac), from about 10:30 till 12:00 PST, after that it cleared up on all of them.

For those of us on broadband, its a nice addition. It does slow it down for those on dialup.
The forums are faster, as far as query time as the new software greatly reduced the number of queries and allows us to support more users online at the same time.
So, yah it sucks for dialup... but, its much nicer for those of us on broadband. You cant please everyone, no matter how hard I keep trying

i don't really know what's involved, or what functions take up more memory, etc. But, when I click the link to go to the newest post in a thread it takes a while to load the full page. It used to be faster to just click the last page # in the thread and scroll down(on the old version), but now it's equally as slow.
I also have a problem when I search for my screen name as the author of a post.(I don't have e-mail notification, I search to see if anyone has responded.) It jumbles up the post order. I can search for my name, display from newest post in descending order, display all posts from a month ago until now, and it puts a post no one has posted on at the top. Then three down will be one someone has posted in, then an old one, etc. It also won't even find others I know I've just posted in or a thread I just started.

I think the graphics are great and the extra pm's help a lot, but I hate it when I click on a link, and scroll to the middle, only to have it return to the bottom again after it finishes loading- but I do like the messages in my email actually tell me what the person posted in my email instead of just saying this person posted a new response to your thread like it was before. the message in my email will show before the message shows in the thread on the forums though?!? updating new posts on the forums is slow- sometimes I have to refresh twice to get the new messages to show! I hope these are just bugs to be workd out.
Nope.. that is a problem with your browser caching the page even when it shouldnt, or perhaps a proxy you are going through. Dont see that problem here... The message is posted to the forum BEFORE the email goes out.
