Do you hear anything while driving, could it be one of your MM's or tranny mount? Feel around and see if anything is lose in the engine bay.
Weird sound at shutdown
Just today when I turned off the car, it seems like its going down but then gets like a small rev in and then dies in a kinda soft clunking down. Its definately not sounding like it used to when I turned off the car. I got a turbo timer and thats how I noticed, I was walking away waiting for car to turn off and I noticed that lil change in sound

I know my car shuts down harder after my race inserts
try putting the clutch in while turning the car off :readclose
