weird noise

so today i was driving my car and whenever i make a left turn my front right tire seems to make a funny noise and one of my friends suggested that it is an indicator or something that my brakes need to be changed is there any truth to this

Funny noise, as in like something that makes you laugh when you make a left turn ?

Need more detail on the noise. Is it a popping sound, grinding sound, ??? Need more info.

it sounds like tire is rubbing against the car but i had my friend next to me on the highway and he said that he did not see anything rubbing

if it is grinding then it might be the CV joint. Thats what mine sounded like and its doing it again. I just bought a new axle but havent installed it. I need some help!

If you haven't already done this then jack it up and pull the tire and give the fully suspension a good inspection. That includes the tire for rub marks.
