:yo: ok... ever since i installed my ed pipes and bov, lets says every 1 out of 3 times i roll out of a stop i get wheel hop. not racing, but just regular stop n go, red light stop sign driving. its wheel hop like as if i was letting the clutch out too fast...? :huh:

didnt really bother me until tonight when i went to the track and i started to run 9.5s because i would just bounce all threw 1st gear.... grrr :flame:

anyone with an idea what the problem could be? anything do to the hardpipe install? doubt it..? or i dont think letting the front end come down to fast from being jacked up would matter?

i was tellin one of my homeboys and he said it could be because when i got my car back from the first wreck, the dumbasses at the shop put my drivers side front tire on backwards. but i installed my pipes AFTER the wreck.

on another note. my best run is a 9.1 STOCK. tonight at the track there was a black srt i ran. 17s, a "susposed" stage 1, ed single pipe (i saw), and other mods that he was too "cool" to tell me what he had when i asked him ran a 9.1. whats the deal with that? baaaaaad driver?? lol i also ran a eblue srt.... i came in at 9.2 and him a 10.4 :rofl: he said it was because his tires were so bald. they were worn out but i mean daymn!

it's called traction issues, quit dumping the clutch above 2k :lol: get motor mounts or atleast prothane inserts.

same EXACT bullshit! could it possibly be the motor mounts? it is so damn annoying. sometimes ill get pissed off and just floor it even more and light my shoes up. then ill be just that more pissed off that i did that! :flame:

ok i have the solution!! actually i contacted ED. and they told me what to do. you have to cut the pipe on the side that connects to the intercooler because depending on what kind of intercoler you have it sits so close to the slave cylinder.

WHAT?!.. no way.. i'm having the exact same problem.. i thought my clutch was going on me.. im about to order a new clutch cuz everytime i slip the clutch out "REGULAR DRIVING" this is NOT WHEEL HOP i know what wheel hop is, my car bounces up and down out of control.. and yes i also just installed ED hard pipes and BOV?

Guys listen i know what they are experiencing, ITS NOT WHEEL HOP, because if when i 1st start my car up or allow my car to roll backwards a little bit before going at the light it wont bounce like a F'in jumping bean.. wheel hop comes from punching it.. we are just slipping the clutch out normally, minimal gas

I would love to know what the problem is cuz im about to buy a new clutch but i REALLY.. REEEALLY dont have the money for it, id cry if it was something easily fixed with little $

ITS NOT YOUR CLUTCH!!! dont buy a new one! look at my post a couple up and theres your answer. i did that on my car and everything works good now!!! let me know if you have anymore ?'s.
