I just recieved a letter from my dealer with a dodge brochure about the services offered, and in the warrenty section, in the fine print, it says the 7 year/70,000 mile powertrain warrenty is not avalible on the SRT models. The way it was explained to me is that i had this warrenty. Does anyone know if this started with the 04's or has it always been this way, cause that seems kinda shitty if you ask me.

I bought my 04 almost 2 moths ago. I have the 7/70.

just 05s loose the 7/70 warranty.

Dodge figured out half way into 04 that with as many people dicking with thier cars there are going to be problems. So dodge dropped the warranty on newer 04s and all of the 05s.

the only thing that the 04 lost was after build date of oct 1 03 the 7/70 powertrain to the second owner will cost 150 to transfer over instead of being free. the 3rd and 4th owner only get the 3/36.

ok, kool, that kinda freaked me out, i'm probably about 2 months from expireing my 3/36 warrenty, so i just wanted to be sure. Thanks guys

One thing good about my warranty is I have free oil change until my warranty expires! 04 and get the added care (it'll cover powertrain)
