Hey guys. I just got my SRT-4 about a week ago and I love it! I went to laser tag tonight and I accidentally left the lights on. Needless to say, two hours later, I come out to a dead battery. My friend, who drives an '02 Lancer went out, got jumpers and jumped my car. We sat with both cars on for about 5 minutes. I was just curious, would I need a new battery or am I good to go? If I need a new battery, will it be covered under warranty? I believe I have an extended warranty, but I'm going to check tomorrow morning. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!

It's probably fine, but if you want to know for sure have it load tested. If you want to test it yourself: 1. pull fuel pump fuse 2. run till it stalls 3. hook up volt meter to battery 4. crank for 30 seconds, if it goes below 9.6v replace it.

most auto parts stores test for free.i think battery is only covered 12 months under warranty.but as said above you can test your self.
