I have S2 w/o toys, K&n cai, Maxxfab 3 in. dp w/hi flo cat, mopar exhaust, msd ignition wires, ngk plugs gapped at .40.....
-Im pretty sure i will win, but what do you all think, how bad would i beat him... I cant afford to lose cuz my cuzin would never let me hear the end of it~ (i never seen a r32 in action...)

Off the line he is going to get you. You might be able to take him in the 1/4 mile but it all depends on what version of chip he has.

From a stop if he's a really good driver and you're just ok, he'll have you up to third gear or so. After that it would be ownage. Any race from a roll would be ownage.

okay think about this... i have heard serious talk a "chipped 1.8t" GTi is faster than a R32... so you do the math... if you need a lil hint... (2+2 is always 4 and GTi 1 eight Ts are slow!!!!!) go own his bitch ass!!!!!

Uhh, its AWD. An R32 with a decent driver will ALWAYS outlaunch an SRT-4 on street tires. Maybe they're dogs from a 5mph roll, but not from a stop.

Saturday there was an R-32 at the track and he had chip, cold air intake, Exhaust, high flow cat and some other stuff i cant remember and he ran 14.6 at 93mph with a 2.0 60' I told him i ran high 13's stock and he couldnt beleive it so i had to show him my slips.

u will kick his azz, r32 cant touch an srt-4, esp an S2 car..... if u totally, and i mean totally screw up the launch he may have a slight chance, but otherwise u will clean his clock. i ran a stock one and fricken murdered it.

yeah even if his chip adds 40hp, that' only 280 to the crank...you're probably almost making that to the wheels.

also (sorry to be a magazine racer), european car did a golf shootout and one of the R32's had 294whp pulling 13.2 @ 103 with a stage 1 supercharger (what you should be doing now with your mods). your cuz probably doesn't have more than 230whp...you're fine

Take off all your mods and return the SRT-4 to stock. Then call up your fattest friend and have him ride shotgun during the race. That's the only way it will be close. As it is now, once you shift into 2nd you'll start pulling hard. I would guess that by 100mph you should have a good 3-5 car lengths on him.

u wont have a problem at all.. R32's are slouches... quick, but not fast. all my encounters have resulted in a straight walk via the SRT.. and im "stock"

im impressed...I thought the R32's were fast little suckers...I am suprised to hear you all say that the srt would totally kill it...These little SRT's must be fast, Huh?
