I just went to a auto vinyl place here in van nuys and was given a qoute of 695 dollars to get twin stripes. I was expecting like 200 or something, does anyone know anyone or a place around here or la that can do it for a good deal. even a private party.

you can get them painted on for less than that at most places i think..
holy shit bro, dont pay that much! Im in fl and i got quoted around 400 and im still looking for a better price!
get the stripes from revolution-motorsports.com and find a place to put them on most places charge around 100-300 to put them on just look around get estimates and revolution-motorsports is giving a 10% discount right now http://www.srtforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=356495

once again SORRY for the bad quality at least u get to get an idea of what it could look like the pics were in the dark and there were lights behind us so the pics came out like crap
dang....i kinda like that...
^^^^yeah it looks REALLY GOOD IN PERSON
The guy who had the stripes done on my car paid 400 bucks. 1 year warranty. I just got them redone under warranty couple months ago. I wanted to switch it from silver to orange but they wouldnt let me :crying: .
yah the stripes arent expensive but no one here is willing to install em for less than 400 to 700 bucks.
wouldn't tint shops do it for a good price? I'd imagine the procedure would be similar to putting on tint..
that's a lot

for someone to have to cut/install them, around $400-$500 seems about right because of the trimming and work invovled. our cars are not the easiest to lay stripes on. i just saw a guy who is selling the pre-cut kits on ebay for like $90 bucks!! almost half of what revolutionmotorsports sells them for...and i bought the revo motorsports kit (said 7-10 years vinyl i think, but you'll be lucky if it lasts 2-3 years..lol). i paid $160 for my pre-cut kit shipped, and $150 for the guy to install them...so that's $310 total. they definitely didn't come out 100% perfect, but i still think they look damn good...here are some pics.

oh yeah

oh yeah...if i was you....i'd spend the money to have them painted on...regardless of the cost. it will last forever...vinyl is a bitch to take off sometimes!
How is the quality of stripes from revolution motorsports? I was looking at putting some of these on one of the used cars at the dealership here, and wanted to make sure it wasn't something that would look like crap after we put it on :) It's on just a regular 2nd gen neon, but they say it will work.
