vaccuum reading 10 w/ car off

my buddie with an 04 just noticed that my vaccuum sits at 10 when the car is turned off...is there any reason why? his sits at zero.

already tried couldnt find anything
nevermind..i guess when the gauge doesnt read 0 then it means its broken. if i go to the dealership would dodge replace that or no?

I'm guessing since Dodge works on all Dodge cars including the SRT-4 that they would replace it. Are you asking if it's covered under warranty? Then maybe you should look it up in the warranty book.
Okay guys, not so harsh.......
If you have a warrenty on the car still, more than likely they'll replace it. Honestly, the next one you get will do the same. Look into some of the aftermarket boost gauges. There are some good ones that will last. I'd recommend one that reads 30psi/30vac minimum.

ive heard that the digital boost gauges dont give u accurate readings?
