As long as everyone ELSE gets a stage 3 thread...

What would you put on your car with Mopar's Stage 3 upgrade to make it the best it can be? Keep in mind that we're working with the Stage 3, not fighting it. Things like the PowerPaq or E-01 are taking the control away from the Stage 3, at which point you might as well have gone with an aftermarket turbo setup. And give reasons for your decisions. I'll start. Oh, and for things like exhaust, CAI, etc... keep it generic.

3" turbo-back exhuast - It helps no matter what you're running for a turbo.
3" CAI - bigger turbo needs more air. Lets give it what it wants.
water injection - can you say "race gas" all the time? :eveilgrin

Thats why I invested in a Dale early on in my tuner career. Either a metric or standard Dale works just as well. I can take mine to Sears if it breaks and get a replacement dunnie while I wait for the Dale to be repaired.

AAAAAA!! Hijacked!!
The problem with the Dunnie, is that it's slower than the Dale, although it will get the job done. And I'd recommend staying away from the metric Dale, as it never quite seems to mesh with other components quite right.
Now, get outta my thread, smart-asses.

Okay.... fine...

A Nemo or Cox ported head, with a matching Nemo ported intake manifold probably won't hurt....

I think the first upgrade that will be useful after the initial install of Stage 3 will be the Mopar Race Clutch.

Excellent job of playing both sides of the fence (How's that for a mixed metaphor?).

We all make decisions in life, somebody has to make the bad ones... might as well be you... :hi:

Actually, I thing the best upgrade for Stage 3 is the "original Stage 3 plan". The current Stage 3 used to be "original Stage 2", and "original Stage 3" owned all... Of course, people complained about the cost of Stage 1 and swore that anything more than $5 and a beercan for "original Stage 2" was going to be too much... and we ended up with compromises...

Eh... it's better for the aftermarket this way, no sense in crushing them all at once...

Lightweight rims with slicks, rip out all unneccessary seats (like the rear one, and for you ugly slobs with no women might as well rip out the passenger seat too), rip out the entire interior, rip out the trunk liner, etc. Remove spare tire and jack too.
Hey, you said to make it the best it can be, not as comfortable as it can be.
BLUF: Just re-create the 400hp car in the November issue of SCC. If it don't make the car go fast, lose it.
