sunday i had a new alarm with remote start installed on the car (thanks peter). on monday, i started the car and threw three codes.

one is the 633 from stage 2, no big deal. another as P0513, invalid skim key. not sure where this came from or why it's there. we programed 2 more keys into the car, one for the remote start and one as an extra key. both were programed fine and the remote start works just fine. where is the invalid skim key?

the last code is the oddest, U 1102. i have no idea what the u is for or why it's there. the obd code for P1102 is Fuel Pump - #2 Relay Open-Circuit. now is this right or is the U meaning something else?

any help on this one would be great!!!!

0523 = invalid SKIM key Note it's NOT the SKIM key not programmed, but invalid, meaning that key is not know by the SKIM. New key?

U110C = no fuel level buss, U1102 is not in my book, but I might be out of date on that one. My guess would be it's related to the SKIM, does the car start? If not, both keys, or just one?

If it won't start with both, I would suspect something wrong with the SKIM.

i have a total of 4 keys for the car now. one is in the car for the remote start feature, two are with me, and one is for blackdragon. all keys work, and the car starts just fine, both with the key and with the remote start. i have to double check the key that bd has, as that would be the only one that is in question.

on a related note, if something is wrong with the skim programing of one of the keys, can i reprogram the key or do i need a new one cut?

and thanks for the help!!! :yourock:

Search, titles only " key and programming" bet it'll pop up. Gotta have your two original keys, if ones embedded in the alarm thing, I'm not sure how you would do it, or if you could.
