If one were to get the turbochargers wastegate...do you think the results would be better than the Stage 2 WGA? Also, I know the PCM would look for the stage 2 WGA but what if a manual boost controller was added. Any thoughts?

I think Evo77 started a few threads about this. He installed S2 but used his AGP WGA in place of the S2 wastegate. He was unhappy with the results.

The next day he replaced the AGP unit with the S2 WGA. He was a very happy man. :thumbsup:

AGP WGA > S2 WGA


You have to be patient and tune the AGP WGA. 18psi is a good choice.

No problem. He used the AGP rather than the Turbochargers wastegate so you might have a different, better experience if you experiment. Personally I figure if you paid all that money for S2 and waited all that time for it to finally arrive, then might as well install it per the instructions and give the PCM a couple days to adjust in order to get a true, accurate first impression. If you're still wondering after that then swap in the other WGA (I would recommend the stock lines) and see if it's an improvment.

I have had stage 2 in for a while...just looking to see if I can improve it in any way.
