I have been having the idle air control problem with mine for a while now the car set for 3 years and I have a brand new idle air control valve I had all my vacuum lines redone and we can't figure out what the issue is I have checked the wiring to the idle air control check the sensors TPS and the knock sensor are fine so is my air temp so only thing I can think of is I do have a solenoid delete because I have the HKS blow about in the AGP wastegate I also have a bigger room I do have a wide band and that pretty much it it was just out of shop to have all this done and the owner of the shop has a 05 himself the only codes I'm throwing are the solenoid delete codes I I do have the borla exhaust I can't find any shops that will tune in the car around here is there a plug and play one that I can use

Awesome thank you doing that now will keep posted. It's almost like people are scared to work on these things I live in the racing capital (arguably) and can't find anywhere here
I'd guess that's from our cars reputation for usually being modded and molested over the years. The engine was in tons of PT cruisers so it's got to be because it's a neon SRT and not the 2.4L specifically.

IAC issues are commonly misdiagnosed vacuum leaks. I did a write up on repairing MPx throttle bodies.
I actually just had all of my vacuum lines redone my throttle body had a air leak from previous owner putting gasket maker over the old gasket it was cause of my boost dump that's all fixed after redoing lines plus adding real catch can,(not Amazon one) new PCV valve new IAC ,and new connector for IAC , check valve plus I switched to wideband that came with new AEM x series AFR/ o2 gauge my other O2 sensor for exhaust i believe is still connected but I don't have cat I have 3in borla I have checked grounds ran through IAC wire all the way to plug it has to be from the cat O2 sensors or I need tune

Just suggesting you double check. Especially because you or someone else just messed with it all.

If you unplug your IAC, does the vehicle stall?
