Hit the dyno today. Previous best was 283hp/327tq, on these mods. S2 toys,K&n Typh.,HPR 3", and map clamp.

Added a SAFC and Walbro 255 to the mix and got 295hp/343tq.

I am really happy with this as the car feels very very strong.
I was running 100octane and had sprayers activated both times.

Had one issue during the tuning, Anybody got any input please chime in???
On about the 7th pull after a cooldown of about 10mins the car suddenly went very lean-like 15.1 lean!(at about 4000rpm) We did not change any settings, the only factor was the cooldown session. Only thing we were thinking is the car was stuck in closed loop or something.

So we disconnected the battery for a minute and then she was fine. Last few runs got the numbers above or similar with a really safe A.F mix.

No codes except p0633 which is common i believe. Has anyone ran into anything like this before??

damn your the man, could you list your mods please. i dont think it was a very good idea getting the SAFC because your already running at map clamp probably at 15-16.5psi and leaning out up top but you can also fine tune your fuel curve. the SAFC does the same thing by cutting back fuel you might be running too lean, what was your AFR when you made the 295 run? you need to get an EGT guage and see what kind of temps your putting off, if their too high YOU NEED FUEL AND STOP RUNNING LEAN before you burn a piston

S2 is controllling boost right now and today it was holding about 18 in 4th.
My computer sucks so here is an abbreviated version of the A/F #s and power.

Also note that we were stopping at 5800rpms as power seemed to plunge after that point? Guess I will be shifting no later that 5800rpm, which worked better for me at the track anyway w/o the AFC.

This was on the 17th pull so the car was DAMN hot, I think 300hp would have been attainable if the car was a little cooler.

That seems like alot of work & cash for 13HP. Did you gain alot under the curve before the peak HP?

Why are you running a map clamp and 100+ mode? How much timing advance are you running? I get 8-10 degree increase in 100+ mode resulting in mid twenties.

What are you clamping at?
In my experience with S2 you can let the PCM see plenty of boost without un-necessary retard. If you are pulling fuel up top there is probably no need for the clamp and fuel correction. Especially if you have toys! Great numbers none the less!!

I am amazed that there is no detonation running that aggressive setup. I can't imagine the EGT's. I would really like to know what that is. Stock intercooler?? Lets see some track times or a video of you & an M3 or something nasty.

if your on the stock front mount your killing yourself, change it out and you will see atleast a 25WHP difference and you can claim the first person to do 300+whp on the stocker without the spray. shit i know someone was going to do it eventually but the real note is if your EGT's are sky high, i can probably guarantee you they are you need to detune your car some for longevity.
