Totally, as the part is essentially just fine except for the metal cable inside of it :/ I've got a lead on two sets here close to where I live so hopefully I can get a fresh one in soon.

Not likely. It has to be pretty precise as far as length. Too long and it will have a short engagement, or won't engage. Too short and it will hang up causing high idle (or WAY high idle). Doesn't mean someone couldn't try to pull and measure it out against existing cables I guess.

I believe they used an entirely different setup, I'd have to go dig around to be sure. Or go down to the farm and look at the GT Cruiser I'm working on lol.

I don't spam. He used to have a Facebook ad. I would check it periodically. Doug Wind recommended him for parts. I purchased a boost gauge from him several years ago. I was tempted to get some shift cables but he wanted more than I wanted to spend. Now he's on Facebook marketplace. I found another seller that had a cable but I would have to drive hours and pull it myself. This seemed like a good deal so I bought one.
