I'll tell you what guys I was getting heated tonite when this girl next to me real nice was talking about her dads stock like 87 vette and saying it would beat my srt4. I was like are you high? :stab: That thing wouldnt even stand a chance especially with the stage 2 turbo im puttin in real soon. :frogtongu Fellas I feel shes wrote a check her dad cant cash. Theyre all nice never had any problems with em but they also believe their vette will beat my brothers 72 dart running 12.3s i was like people a stock brand new zo6 vette couldnt keep up with my brothers dart much less mind you an 87. I'm gonna love going to the track or whenever hopefully I see em on the road. I'll show em what the meaning of SRT4 really is.......... :eveilgrin

I absolutely killed my friends stock 85 vette with my SRT stock. I dont think an 87 has much more power over the 85. Just for kicks i looked up an 88 vette on car-stats, and it says 14.6 sec 1/4 with a manual transmission.

i didnt want to sound too cocky but they think just caz its a corvette its real fast i was like yea uh huh sure and walked away. Dude my friend that doesent no a dam thing about cars thinks this guy dosnet stand a chance I was like well for once my friend on cars I have to agree this one will be aniolation. O yea this was the best part a week ago the same girl was sittin in my srt4 and is like this aint as quick as my dads vette :flame: i was wtf i havent even gotten into it i gunned it i was up to 100 in no time and she kept her mouth shut. :rofl: Thanks Tim

I believe the early C4 vettes had the L98 engine in them, pretty decent torque, but a little low on power. When I was stock I raced a guy with an 88 Vette, manual, with exhaust and ~75K miles. He ran a [email protected] to my [email protected] It shouldn't be very close unless the Vette has some mods they're not telling you about.
