I am sure my car is in this thread somewhere, but to attest to the VW comment.

MOST SCENE vw kids believe in being so low it should be undrivable. True VW people now ride with air, and only park non drivable.

right after starting a bumper project and finish the hood and trunk... I am a VW guy so we made a custom european rear bumper, turned out great, unfortunately a drunk driver ruined the bumper 2 days after we finished so no finished pictures were taken.

Enjoy, BC Racing coils with more the 1/4 of tread left to go lower, VW Long Beach 17x7 wheels on 205/40/17 Yokohama Parada's. Mirror deletes were made by me using ABS plastic, tail lights are RX300 taillights, we masked the reverse light and used a can of glass staining paint from Jo-Annes fabrics. Car now resides in pieces im sure, but that was the start of everything.

(Next project is a white 05 with CCW Classics, and just as low with poke we will see how it all comes together when i pick the car up.)

that red srt is different! i like the mirror block off

And Running 15s at the track :)

Turbojon, orange and lc02 are definately for an srt, atleast low enough to be safe and look good without making it retarded and undriveable. Plus VW guys go for slammed and handling, srt guys go for power and a nice slam
i love when our bolt on k swap guys run high 11s NA :)

And would still get chopped up by many from a roll. My first encounter with a K was on stock turbo making a measly 240whp, and he got bus lengthed:thumbsup:

moar plz!
Actually i was just about to post more! Haha. Dropped it on its dick for a carshow this weekend. Rubbed on every bump the whole way there and the whole way back  Cutout the fenderwells and the pinch molding in the front. They dont rub anymore and are still at that height, but definately need to roll the rear fenders a bit more, and camber them in to stop rubbing over bumps.
Anyway, onto the few pics i found on the forums people took of me.

(Just bought a new hood, and retros are in process so eyelids are gone sorry)

Crappy cell pic but you can kinda get the idea. What i did was follow the outlines of the fender with a grinder. Basically just shaved that lip right off. First with a cutting wheel, then smooth it out with a grinding wheel. Since it was a pinch molding i figured it served a purpose, and i shouldnt just leave the two metals sitting next to eachother, they were "fused" together for a reason. So i welded a couple tacks here and there, then grinded them smooth so they wouldnt jut out. Gave me another inch or so of clearance in there!

as oppose to
