Coming to a local road near you!

Mad props go out to none other than Hector ( Exhaust Depot).
With his turbo knowledge and my mechanical skills the problem on my car has been found and temporarily corrected.

The surge valve actuator is malfunctioning. The solenoid controls it and the ECU controls the solenoid. The ECU is the problem.
For the time being I routed the pink line directly off the intake manifold per hec's suggestion, and im boositng a happy 14 PSI, with an ocasional spike to 15!

NO MORE OSCILLATION! MY GOD THIS CAR IS FAST!!!!!!!!! I have to grab the wheels with both hands if I floor it in second!

For the first time evar my cars temp got high and the fans came on....thats a sign of a boost happy driver!

Any tampa guys want some of me?

Cali is here in Tampa and the runs were made 1hr apart between first and second runs. The shop aswell as he were in shock but the boost selenoid seems to be the culprit if not the dealership also ordered a turbo unit just in case it might be the wastegate. His car is totally stock and has never been touched, he refuses to mod it until he gets his ponies back.
Have him check the solenoid that is inline with the surge valve (bypass valve) actuator. If this solenoid doesn't open to allow positive boost pressure to the diaphragm of the bypass valve it will open under boost and you'll not hit full boost.

As far as the Mopar upgrades are concerned, I expect they will be very good as these guys have access to the ECU code. Any serious modification for this car that expects to seriously increase power will require ECU calibration work be it Mopar, or aftermarket (my area). We’ve learned a whole lot about this car already with the short time we’ve spent on our dyno. I’ll post more on that in another post sometime down the road. I think it will surprise some of you guys.
