which of these shoudl i get, tein is 40 bucks more but iv heard they perform and look better, what are your opinions?

i've ridden in Tein springs...not that great...and the car is lowered a lot.
i have Hotchkis and the ride isn't superb, a bit bouncy...but the ride height is more livable...not so drastic.

if you wanna wait another week or so i'll sell you my Hotchkis set, i've only had them on for two weeks. Save you about $75-100 also. Im going w/IPP coilovers.

The Teins don't lower the back enough. They should offer a 2" rear drop.

tein are low but not so hot on the ride (so ive heard) also they are a bit too low and you tire will run the inner fenderwell.. hotchkis works out great 4 me

My Teins are fine. I have never rubbed my tire on the inner fender well. I can agree they are somewhat bouncy but lowering your car on almost any spring with stock struts will make it somewhat bouncy. I also never cut the bump stop either, maybe that is why I don't rub. And ground clearance I think it is pretty good. I mean I don't bottom out or rub. I got mine off of Ebay for $150 shipped too.

I could post pictures of my car with Hotchkis but mine looks the same as Robino. The ride is good not too rough but doesn't bottom out either.

Tein's cosmeticly are super sexxy


The ride is a little on the stiff side, but the handeling in corners is superb.

s-tecs for sale 120.00.sorry to highjack.i have mp s2's now.as for springs you should always up grade your shocks.i liked the teins just fine but the illuminas were not available at that time.so i got the c/o's.i would have gone with the spring/shock combo .i would have also been able to keep my bigger rims.plus the drop on the teins were better than my coilovers

You guys that say the ride is bouncy are you only replacing the springs or are you replacing both springs and shocks?

Our cars come with nice struts already so only having 14500 on my car I have no need to replace struts yet. I have a great ride with the Hotchkis springs I'm impressed so mush I'm only using Hotchkis sway bar kit on my car.
