with the mods in my sig...i actually just put the exhasut on and i havent tested out first gear yet but im assuming its going to be useless...i plan on launchin at like ~ 1800 rpms and hopefully keeping the wheel spin relatively low, looking for mid-low 13s...any advice on like preparation of the car ie. tire pressure, should i grab some new plugs (i still have stock ones), etc anything like that would help...thanks

Practice makes perfect as far as launching! I would start launching off idle to get the feel of it. If you are running Street tires make sure you do not lower the pressure past 25 lbs. Do a small..and I mean Small..Dry hop to clean the tires before you stage. No big John Force burnut on street tires! hehe Good luck!

don't try to get a low et. you need to get a good 60' the rest is just normal driving. you should be able to get a 2.1-2.2 60' on stock tires

can you turn that low of a 60' w/ a stock car on stock tires? I need any launch tips i can get over here! my best 60' was 2.485

Depending on the track prep, and weather conditions, 2.0 60ft times are possible. If you can get into the 2.1 or 2.2 60ft times, you should be OK.

you modt certainly can get times like that on the stockers, in my stock o4 my first time out i pulled a 2.2 60'. i feather the clutch some dont reccomend this because it is hard on the clutch, but i ease out on the clutch in on the accel and get good times. lookin for a 2.0-1 tonight
