I have about 4000 miles on my srt-4 and I've noticed a very annoying stuttering/bucking problem for a while now. It's hard to really describe but here goes:
It happens in every gear but is most noticeable in 1-3, it is worst between 1.5-3000 rpms and at lower speeds. There is bucking/stuttering while I slowly accelerate but it is even worse when I take my foot of the gas and the car decelerates on its own. The car will buck like it is stalling even though im at like 2500rpms in third gear or something. I notice it most at about 2000 rpms. I could just be cruising at 40mph and the car will stutter whether im giving it gas or not. I can see the tach needle flutter when the car is bucking. Sometimes I'll take my foot of the gas and it seems like the car is still getting gas, like its stuck at 2000rpms even though im not pressing the gas. Its like the engine isn't braking, its just going along without me doing anything. Rarely, when idling, the rpms will jump up to like 3000pms and slowly go down.
This happens all the time and it is very annoying. I've done some searching and the TPS seems like a suspect but I'm not sure. There are no codes. The only other thing I've noticed is clunking with the clutch. It rattles if I shut the car of with the clutch out and sometimes i hear a clicking or clunking when changing gears.
Sorry for being long but I just want sometime to maybe recognize my problem and give me some advice.
