I have a warranty claim that has been denied by the district rep due in part to Stage 1 (how do you like THAT one?). Without going into details on the board, I'm looking to take this up another level, and I need to know who to contact.

If it's something like a window motor then it should be covered...but if it's something in the engine or drivetrain then it's kinda up to each service manager...take it to another dealer and hope for the best...otherwise you just gotta pay up.

I had this problem when my axles broke on my VW...naturally I couldn't get them covered under warranty but naturally I tried...in the end I bought aftermarket axles and installed them myself...weeee!

I'm installing stage 2 myself along with the intake. And if something happens to the point that it needs to be taken to the dealership I'm changing everything back to stock. May take 4 or 5 hours though. Saves money in the long run. Gotta get extra horsepower. So addictive. Just gotta be smarter than the dealerships. And at some dealerships that not hard. haha

good luck, i had my warranty voided for the same reason... Grow up and deal with the fact like i did. You can try lawyers, DCX and even try to get in contact with the districk rep, its just gonna get costly and nothing will happen. just fix your car learn from your mistake, what ever it might be and start playing all over again.

Learn from what mistake?

Learn from the fact that we were decieved as to what would constitute
warranty voidage? (voidage?? eh... whatever)

As long as the parts don't cause the breakage, then it will be covered.

Yup, as long as it wasn't Stage 1 that caused the problem, they can't deny you your warranty. Hell, I have Stage 2, and I just got a new engine that my warranty covered.

That's exactly what DCX and these dealerships want. Sometimes you gotta take a couple punches to win a fight.

Pardon the hijack. I've made a little progress, but not as much as I want. I got a call from DCX a week or so ago, but I'm not very comfortable posting the details until the game is over.

I'm working on getting ahold of the district rep right now, but it's hard to do.
