will stage 1 pass smog?

if not, i'm glad i kept my stock pcm. could i leave the s1 injectors in if i did have to swap back to s0?

i'm already gonna have to swap out my cat-less dp.

don't smog till may, but i was just thinkin ahead. gettin ready to put my maxxfab 02 & dp on, and mopar exhaust. i figure i would just swap the stock dp back on when the time comes.

will the stock dp mount to the maxxfab o2 housing? or would i have to put the stock o2 housing back in?

I'm almost sure that Stage 1 will pass the smog but if not, just swap the PCMs. no worries about the injectors, you can leave the injectors in for sure.

Same process as the used kit reflash. And we don't know for sure if P0633 will trigger a fail, since it's not an emmisions code. Binary didn't have P0633 becuase his was a used kit, hence no code.

i guess i could stop by and talk to my friends at the shop where i'll get the smog done and ask if a non emission code would fail me.

and for the record, scott says the stock dp should fit to his 3" o2 housing.. so i will just swap the dp and cat-back when it comes time to smog. i will verify this when i get my mopar cat-back and put it all on.

I my car used so I had to smog it to get it registered in my name. It was stock then, but now I have to smog it every other year. By the time the next smog test comes around I'll be very far from stock *hehe*

Your car is new you should not to have to smog the car for 5 years. the only time you would to have to somg the car is if you are going to sell it.

wait.. really??? can someone else verify this?

If you just bought a car and are having to smog it, you got ripped cause the seller is supposed to smog it and he has 30 days from the time it passes to make the sale. if it is not sold within that time it has to be done again, I'm in the process of selling my car so thats how I know. I have not heard its 5 years before you smog a new car, but I have heard lots of numbers, 4 and 2, I think 4 is what I've heard most. Other than going beyond the alloted smog time the only other times I know that you would have to smog are if you are going to sell it, as was discussed, and if you are new to the state. The guy (assuming there has only been one) who passed with s2 only had to smog cause he was moving to the state. My understanding with the code issue (and I could be wrong, this is just what I was told) is regardless if you are throwing non-emissions codes, they are codes and you will not pass. You have to have a clean PCM that is code free, so just do a reflash and don't just hope all will be well. Except for those lucky kiddos who are friends with smog people, I need to make more friends!

Stage 1 will pass. I did mine around 2 months ago.

Stage 1
K&N CAI

Had no problems, car past with flying colors (0% over stock emissions).
