Hey guys, well im pretty new to the SRT world but so far I like what I see. I drive around in a 02 WRX and people say the interior in our cars are pretty blah. though I was looking inside an srt and geshh....makes mine look like a bently. hehe no offense but is this just me?? I want this car as a beat around car b.c im racking up miles on my subby driving 100 miles a day. just want people input on the interior of theses cars. thanks.

I like it better than all other cars even near to the same class, sorry that even includes the WRX.
It's typical Dodge fare. Kind of cheap looking IMO. You don't think they got it this fast by not cutting any corners do you?

DISCLAIMER: THIS IS AN OPINION POST. PLEASE DO NOT TRY AND PROVE ME WRONG. IT'S MY OPINION!

I don't like the interior at all. Looks and feels cheap to me. If it's your beater though, what do you care? It's at least a functional interior.

yea i hear ya, love the car though. have so much respect for this car. i told a few people i want this car and all they says is "its a neon" im like "this neon will rock your type R" lo, but who knows...all depends if i can afford two cars at the age of 18 =]

Whoa, Whoa, Whoa. You come into a SRT-4 Forum, put down interior, and what to know what we think??? *getting into my flame suit*

I'm not the one trying to start trouble. I don't know what type of response you're looking for but I don't think you're going to get a good one. If you're just looking for a beater, why the SRT-4 out of all the other "beater potential" out there?
Personally, coming from the perspective of a person who takes apart car interiors all day (audio installer) Dodge has a far better build then Subies. Of course neither is a VW or BMW, howver dodge would be a 8 and subies a 7 IMO. Flame on....

Jon
a work full time at my familys pizza shop to answer that. and as of why picking the srt as a beater, well b.c its not all that much money. and it makes a $hit load of power for the money!.. if you srt people out there dont notice this then let me say it again I LIKE THESE CARS do not hate b.c i asked about the inside of theses cars... i feel like just b.c i own a subby you guys have something to fight for. were all in it for the fun and to make fast cars.
I have just broked 2k on my SRT-4, I really like the interior, at least the parts that matter to me. I would like power windows in the back, but that's a loss that's worth it for the sheer fun you have when driving the car.

I love the seats - they kinda suck you in, wasn't crazy at first about the shifter, but now I like it - (still gonna put that MOPAR short-throw in when it's avail). I love the gauges - they look really nice - I love the boost gauge - the stereo is surprisingly adequate - I like the cup holers - I like the doors, and how they open to 3 progressively wider spots - (no accidentaly hitting the car next to you like in my HUGE door 2 dr Accord .) and I love the steering wheel.

The ac settings and glove box and satin silver finish around the center are pretty low-rent, and there is only one cup holder in the back and manual windows back there - but hey - when am I gonna be sitting in the back seat? The parts that matter to the driver are excellent, while the rest is, well, a neon. Not bad - but certainly not outstanding. Again - this is just my opinion, and as far as a driver's car - this one is awesome. hope that helps.

Heh like I said before, If the VW guys like the interior better than a REX (NOTE SW REGION) I honestly could care less what your opinion is.

There is no car enthusiast on the planet that rapes, fondles and or strokes their interior like a VW owner.
hard to say since i havent driven much else besides dodge products. interior seems fine to me, it doesnt look one way or the other. there's not a WHOLE lot to it so there's not much to be screwed up :) just my .02
it's ok, not the best in the world, but it's not supposed to be. The WRX interior doesn't do much for me, it's not that great either. I like the placement of everything in the SRT better (shifter, pedals, so on).

Exactly everything is placed nice, and it fits me like a glove.

If you want a nice interior for $20k buy a Jetta, your not gonna find "High quality" materials in a REX or SRT interior.
yep - I totally agree. Jetta's are way nice for the interior - The 1.8 has some good performance, too - but to go top of the line trim, you're gonna spend more than the 19,800 I spent for a car that will kill a 1.8T forwards, backwards, and yes, even sideways.
I'll post the best luxury interior under $21,000 tommorow. Yeah part of the reason I bought the Jetta was the interior. Volkswagen=balance of peformamce, luxury, style, and engineering. I let my aircooled take care of the performance, 1915cc turbocharged engine in the works. (12sec easy street tires)

By the way nice subbie, I am diggin it. Lose the chrome lip though and yeah working at your parents business gets the bills paid. But dont buy a brnd new second car. Get a classic that will cost less initially and restore it yourself as a beater. A 510 sounds cool.
I must have a bad memory of the Wolfsburg Jetta my best friend had but I swear the SRT-4 interior is similar.

Its Simple, Clean lines, and a single color.

I have been in more expensive cars and can tell the difference but I happen to like the SRT-4 interior.

I like the Solid Black Panels and floor, the Molding around the stereo and vents and shit can go I don't like the brushed Aluminum look on this model. Out of the cars I have been in it feals to me like a quality interior and very sporty. I've been in the new Jettas, Civic, RSX, WRX, Focus and SRT-4. The SRT-4 hands down made me smile when I sat in it. The Guages are located right in front of you (hehe duh) and illuminate very well at night.

Just so peeps don't get mad at me I still don't own any of the cars above but am in the market and test drove each one so it's what I experienced when I drove them.
