Looking to sell my 2004 SRT4 turbo to someone who will love it and take care of it! The car has been in my family since 2006 when we bought it from the original owner with about 3k miles on it. It was in heated storage and not driven for 7 years until 2013 when it became my daily driver. In 2018 I purchased a new vehicle and the neon has been in heated storage since that point and started every so often (63k miles currently). Routine Maintenance has been performed by local, small shop mechanic and has had no modifications. Clutch has been replaced (due to age), front break pads, rotors, and spark plugs replaced. Includes original window sticker, subwoofer (with original tags), 6 CD changer (currently jammed), and sunroof. This car was driven lovingly, never excessively. It has a couple small scratches (main one pictured on front right quarter panel). Interior is very clean with 1 wear spot on the drivers seat (seldomly had passengers; main use was driving less than 10 miles to work daily). When was the coolant replaced? Noticed the instrument cluster picture it shows it running hot. Usually due to a worn thermostat or cap.
So since it was your daily driver for 5 years in Minnesota, It saw the nasty winter up there? Car have rust?

Thank you! Cooling system was flushed with new coolant replaced in May of 2021 and has only ran a few times since then. Yes, the vehicle saw Winter but there is only 1 very small spot at the base of the spoiler (picture added) and I’ve added pictures of the underbody to help answer the question. Lmk if you have any other questions!

Thermostat opens at 195, but it is very normal (in my experience) for temps to reach 210 in stock form. It's actually desired. Remember, water boils off at 212 (which is something you want).

The spoiler comes off with relative ease, two bolts on each side from the underside of the trunk lid, just be careful if the bolts are rusted because they are imbedded into what I believe is fiberglass (been a long time since I worked on one) and they can rip out a lot easier than you might think. Soak them in penetrating oil and do your best to clean them up, repeat until they are clean (if they are rusted at all).
Upon removal a person can tape and sand down the rusted areas and hit it liberally with a close matching rustoleum paint (do the same process on the inside of the trunk if needed), then use a liberal amount of ultrablack (or comparable) silicon around the bottom side of the spoiler and bolt it back down again. If any of the silicon squeezes out quickly wipe it, use a razor or toothpick to clean up any excess, wipe down with a rag lightly coated with thinner if any remains.
