Is the "lightweight" SRT-4 an actual model that is going to make production? I was under the impression that it was more of a testbed/one-off special. Anybody got any inside info on whether or not it'll see production? Thanks in advance.

It's a one time thing made by the PVO guys.

Except for the powertrain, that's not oneoff, Just lil'ol Stage 3R:) The body parts are special though. The gutted interior is an owner mod:)

i find it kinda odd that gutted it wieghed only 400lbs less... cause 400lbs less would be my 2gen neon not gutted at 2500 w/o driver of course. The only thing i can think about would be the 2.4 is that much more heavier, considering the same wieght redux and a gutted interior should net me 300lbs maybe more so... ??? i don't understand how thats the most they could get. Maybe i'm missing something here. (someone with 2nd gen srt4 motor swap wiegh their car)

Note that the car has a FULL roll cage installed which add quite a few pounds!
