Ok, I just got off the phone with a dealership in MD who says they have 1 Black SRT-4 in stock. I am very skeptikal as to why it wasnt sold yet, and then I asked him how many miles on it and he said a few hundred because they took it to a dodge event to show the car in DC. He said they havent had a serious buyer yet so no one has test drove it. Do you think it would be worth it for me to trust this car, and maybe try to haggle the price down a bit?

If that's the one they used in DC, I would not even bother. The one in dc had the wrong tires, tiny FMIC, etc. I could be wrong though.

So when I get there what exactly should I look out for.....How can I tell if it is the car you are speaking of? Maybe I will offer them 18000$ for it :O

I'd say ask. They should be able to provide you some honest information. Check under the hood and make sure it looks legit, like the ones you've seen here. Check the tires as well. Make sure they are the Mich. Pilots Sports. The FMIC should fill the whole front as seen in pictures here. Ask more about the mileage. Maybe you could offer them much lower the 18k.

Maybe some of the guys who saw the one in DC show could add to this.

Ok just got back from looking at it, its the real deal. The only reason they have it was by luck a guy in the military ordered one from switzerland, and then he got sent off to war so chrystal allowed them to sell it. I saw it right on the sticker of the car. The black SRT has 88 miles on it because they drove it to a dodge event in 6 flags in MD. They are asking 22,000$ for it however, it had the side air bags without the nice seats I wanted, so I have officially decided to wait for the 04 SRT w/LSD. Im going to bite the bullet and wait as much as I dont want to I think I will be much happier when that time roles around. If anyone in MD is interested in this car it's at Thompson dodge in Dundalk, MD on Merrit Blvd. If you have any questions email me.

Wow, that's the first one I've heard of with the side air-bags. I guess that guy in the military special ordered that. No wonder it hasn't sold yet. The viper-like seats are one of the best things about the car.

Yeah I wouldnt buy it for the fact of the crappy seats alone. Not to mention a 2,000$ mark-up.

I haven't seen better seats in a car less than 20K unless you can idientified one for me.
