Saw one at the track last night. It was lined up behind me and only ran once...didn't see the times but a buddy of mine said it had a pretty weak launch (lots of tire spin etc.). Is this anybody's car? Just wondering what it ran at a local track.

i will see what mine spikes at after work. i was really hoping it would be 15 pounds of boost stock lol
Sorry, pinkey, you won't see a steady 15 even with a boost controller. I have mine set to 16 psi and it holds there until 3500 and then starts creeping down to 13 and holds steady to redline. The spring in the wastegate isn't strong enough to hold the boost at 16 until redline.

What color was it? There are only a couple in AZ.
Most likely it was Brent's buddy.

Hopefully you'll see mine at Firebird once I get the EBC and MM's in

It was red. I didn't see the race, as I was coming back down the 1/4 when he must have gone. Last night was a crappy night, everybody was about .5 off their usual ETs, so the SRT's performance probably is not indicative of what the car will do. Just curious to see how the AZ cars run.

Mine's been really steady at about 10, somtimes with a spike to 12.
Really? I heard they're closer to 15 stock. I know the EVO hits around 18 max
Low boost stock is a good thing, though, because you should be able to crank it up a lil'

You're not going out first to get baseling numbers? See how much your mods do for you? BTW - it's now starting to get hot, so dragging @ Firebird will now officially suck for the next 4 months

Hmm, I know one ran at speedworld the other night, his best was 14.9, not as fast as me. The guys in AZ get higher boost levels from the alttitude, Phoenix is something like 1500 feet. I got 14psi plus when I was there, and only about 12psi here at sea level. Launching it isnt bad, its second gear that is the killer. Drop the clutch at 1500 - 1700 rpm and feed it gas, but once you hit 3000 rpm you spin the tires. I couldnt get traction until 5500 rpm in second, just before I had to shift. Still got me a 14.2 @99.8mph That was at 20 psi in the tires. I'll say it again, this car needs slicks before more power.
