Spring perch modification

Hey guys,

So I am having some problems with some tires I bought off a guy. The tires are sitting on the spring perch.... now yes I know, coilovers would cure this issue, I just wasn't going to go with coils yet and got some hotchkis springs instead. So no to my question..... hit the perches up???? What can I do that is relatively safe :rofl: I know there are a few guys that have beat on them, I am just wondering what the effects are....
