You would even be fine using as small at 16ga for that low of a wattage. Especially if the sub isn't going to be more then 3-5 feet from the amp, the voltage losses would be minimal if that. The 8ga wire for the amp itself is about perfect, again you could do 10ga, but it doesn't leave much room for upgrading.
As far as RCA's go, anything with twisted pair conductors are ideal in the 12v enviroment. Don't be fooled by ultra-expensive RCA's, the differences are minimal and mostly inaudible. Kinda like dealer installed paint protection. :roll:
