i bought a set of sparco pedals. now i know you have to screw them on. but does anybody know if you can take the stock rubber pedals off and screw the new ones onto the brackets (i assume there are brackets back there, that are holding the stock pedals on), or do i have to screw the new pedals right into the stock rubber ones? thanks. 8)

I'm not 100% sure, but I believe you can remove the stock rubber. I DO know there are metal plates the rubber wraps around. So you should be able to remove the rubber and drill through the plates.

Remove the rubber booty.

Each pedal should have four corner brackets if a standard aftermarket pedal.

Aligned the pedal on the metal pedal and tighten upper left then lower right and not to tight.

Then apply the upper right and lower left

When you have the pedal on correctly then tighten the screws to the rear nut tight as possible.

Check the for any movement on the pedal. If so then readjust and apply sequence for safety.
