Hey guys I have loved every convo...but the stupid dealership kept on postponing the srt so i went ahead and bought the evo8 for sticker!!!!...a silver one and it looks sick im picking it up tom. I still think the srt is sick and you will never get anything for the bucks!!!...but it was as if the evo8 my lancers daddy was calling for me...LOL.....anyways

the evo 8 is having nasty tranny issues the front diff is eating itself and destroying the tranny. check it out. its happened to 10 or something already... i read about 3 online then found like 5 more in a search... 3+5=10 somehow...

Still a great choice on the car Bean. EVO8's are sweet. I can't wait to line up with one. Prolly won't happen around my area of Ohio though. But who knows. You should stick around and let us know how everything goes. Even though you have strayed to the darkside, we'd still like the inside info on the EVO8 and upgrades. I of course speak my opinion, but I'm sure at least one more person would agree. HAVE FUN WITH IT!

Actually, I called Brandon Mitsu to get one but they wanted 5K over MSRP so I let it go and got the SRT-4 instead, you know the one that'll whip your little Evo anyday, you name the place and... Woo, I think my sig is starting to control me! :twisted:

I called for some info about the EVO but dealers around in Wash. D.C area never had an interest on getting me prep/excited about that particular car. They kept sending me used sale specials. How sad is that?

Bean, i have a 3" downpipe for it already. Sending it to get jigged. Local guy who lives down teh block form me bought one. Love the CF spoiler and the nice FMIC! The FMIC sprayer is a killer!
